ÆON Launches Halal Food

Aeon launches launch Halal food for Muslims at its 25 Stores in Kanto region permanently starting from March 2016.

The Halal food has been developed by Aeon Topvalu Malaysia SDN. BHD operating private brand (PB) business.

Aeon is the largest retailer in Asia and Japan's single-largest shopping mall developer and operator.

Aeon is a retail network comprising around 300 consolidated subsidiaries and 26 equity-method affiliated companies ranging from convenience stores and supermarkets to shopping malls and specialty stores, including Talbots.

Aeon will offer approximately 30 items of Halal food and will develop a wider variety of products and increase the number of stores that offer Halal food according to demands from the community.

Some of the products that the stores will offer are: Noodle "Curry, Vegetable", Extra Virgin Oil, Spaghetti, Unrefined Salt, Table Salt, Condensed Milk and White coffee.
