Tobu World Square is a theme park in Kinugawa Onsen that exhibits 1/25 scale models of famous buildings, including UNESCO-designated World Cultural and Heritage Sites, ancient monuments, cultural treasures, trains and cars, complete with 140,000 miniature people.

In the Japan Zone, visitors can view scenes of Japan along with culturally significant sights from across the country such as Himeji Castle and temples around Kyoto.
On April 2010, a 1/25 scale model of the Tokyo Skytree was unveiled at the park’s Modern Japan Zone. It is 26 meters tall, taller than the 19.95 meters replica of the New York World Trade Center in America Zone. Modern Japan Zone also features structures such as Tokyo Dome, Diet Building, Tokyo Tower and a partial replica of Narita Airport. |
Visitors can see the Eiffel Tower in Europe Zone which is the park's largest and most diverse area, and the Pyramids and the Sphinx in Egypt Zone.
The Asia Zone takes visitors to Korea and India, as well as some large sites from China such as the Forbidden City. The park has a few other facilities including restaurants and shops which sell food and goods from around the world. All the site descriptions around the park are in both Japanese and English. |
Tobu World Square AccessFrom Tokyo - Tobu World Square Station stands just across the street from the park entrance and is served by most trains along the Tobu Kinugawa Line, including the ones to/from Tokyo Station, Asakusa Station and Shinjuku Stations "takes about 2 hours".
From Kinugawa Onsen - From Kinugawa Onsen Station take local trains to Tobu World Square Station "takes about 3 minutes". You can also take Tobu Buses from Kinugawa Onsen Station to Tobu World Square "takes about 5 minutes". |
